We need to ask our representatives about Agenda 2030, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), & UNDRIP. They need to explain what they know about it, what think about it, and make them justify the implementation if they believe in it.
We should be setting up meetings with your representatives from all levels of government and asking the below questions. If you can not get a meeting, write them a letter so they can respond in writing. We do not need to explain your knowledge or express your opinion.
I think the UNDRIP question is very important. If they believe we are stolen land, and they also believe in UNDRIP then how will they transfer control of the land to the Indigenous peoples? What is the timeline?

- What is Agenda 2030? Do you know the history of it?
- What are the Sustainable Development Goals?
- Has location committed to Agenda 2030 or meeting any of the Sustainable Development Goals?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Agenda 2030/Sustainable Development goals?
- What policies have you supported that align with the Agenda 2030/Sustainable Development goals?
- What policies have you voted against align with the Agenda 2030/Sustainable Development goals?
- Are there any policies or other changes scheduled to be voted on to achieve Agenda 2030 or Sustainable Development goals?
- How do you track the success or failures of SDG policies that have been implemented?
Questions about the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
- Have you heard of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples ( UNDRIP )? If not, will you look into it and get back to me.
- If so do you plan to implement it?
- If you do plan to implement it, how will transfer land and control to the Indigenous peoples? What is your timeline? You do recognize and acknowledge that we live, work, and play on the traditional territories insert treaty # for your area? The details can be found in Artcile 26 and Artcile 28 of UNDRIP.
Article 26
- Indigenous peoples have the right to own, use, develop, and control the lands, territories, and resources that they possess because of traditional ownership or other traditional occupation or use, as well as those which they have otherwise acquired.
- States shall give legal recognition and protection to these lands, territories, and resources. Such recognition shall be conducted with due respect to the customs, traditions, and land tenure systems of the indigenous peoples concerned.
Article 28
- Indigenous peoples have the right to redress, by means that can include restitution or, when this is not possible, just, fair, and equitable compensation, for the lands, territories, and resources which they have traditionally owned or otherwise occupied or used, and which have been confiscated, taken, occupied, used or damaged without their free, prior and informed consent.
- Unless otherwise freely agreed upon by the peoples concerned, compensation shall take 21 the form of lands, territories, and resources equal in quality, size, and legal status or of monetary compensation or other appropriate redress.
